Announcing: Lustre's Newest Contributors

Damien Miano and Louis Viél, our two newest contributors, are co-owners of Miano Viél Salon and Spa.

Damien is a Vidal Sassoon trained stylist known for his extensive range of cutting techniques, from dry cuts to razor sculpting. His clients love his consistent, contemporary and always flattering cuts. Damien served as a National Spokesman at Unilever for nine years.

Louis has a gift for hair color. Dubbed a "National Makeover Expert", "Color Genius" and "One of New York's Top Four Colorists", Louis is a recognized expert in both color correction and brilliant reds, extraordinary blondes and rich, elegant browns. He too was a National Spokesman at Unilever as well as Creative Director for Hair Color at Revlon, USA.

Damien and Louis joined forces in 1985 with the opening of their first salon, and they have thrived ever since. For over three decades now, Damien and Louis have been styling high-profile clients from New York, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles, socialites and actresses, high-powered executives and fashion icons.

They serve not only these amazing women but also their daughters and granddaughters, women who are or will become amazing women in their own right. Miano Viél takes a consciously intergenerational approach to beauty as it changes over the years, and Damien and Louis have an energizing interest in women of our age.

Along the way, many television and radio shows, as well as national magazines, have featured the duo. We are so happy that now they will be featured in Lustre!
