Time To Look Up from your Smartphone

 By Erica and Karen

Only a very short time ago, we were addicted to our blackberries and iphones. Always afraid that if we didn't check all the time, every minute, we would miss something important.

Now that we are out and about, we notice that a substantial part of the world is looking down most of the time. On the streets, on buses and subways. Even in restaurants and in stores. And certainly during meetings (we all know that). Actually, just about everywhere most people are looking down.

We are in more control of our lives and our time and we have begun to realize we don't have to look down all the time. It's not about missing a text or email or even a call. It's about what you miss by not looking up.
